Ruby @ 14 weeks

At fourteen weeks Ruby has made a lot of progress.

In today’s blood tracking training Ruby picked up the first track immediately and ran it off lead for the entire 300m in a couple of minutes.  In total she hesitated only a few times and really didn’t require any correction from me. She took to the skin at the end of the track with enthusiasm and showed no fear or hesitation.

For the second track that was shorter in length but more difficult as it went into high grass and fallen timber she got to the end with very few corrections.

Still a long way to go from 3 blood tracking exercises at 14 weeks of age. However, it is a good start.
